It strikes me as a little uneven, particularly in a discussion about the death of feminism, that you should say that one woman's ascendancy demands the dwindling of another. I like Deveny very much, I speak with her occasionally and, not that it's ever come up, but we'd agree that our styles and editors are so sufficiently separate that neither of us has suffered financially.
