:) :)

I've never been a big consumer (compared to many around me) (don't buy things on credit, don't pay for gym etc), but I still am more than I feel I should be, and have realised this lately more too. I'd rather work less for a simpler life. I'd rather backpack around the world cheaply for years than go on one or two expensive short holidays. Anyway, I have lots to say on this subject, but formulating stuff that makes sense takes time, and I have stuff to sort out that is going the opshop etc :D (lately I've been buying a lot from the opshop which is good, but I've still been buying stuff I don't need, I have too many clothes, gah!)
The fact that we have the freedom to choose to simplify our lives and such things is very fucking awesome. Confusing sometimes, choice, but ultimately we're very lucky.

Anyway, ramble ramble. In short: nice post :)

Fantastic. We all actually need to do this at least once a month to remember how much we consume & how much we just, really, don't need. And I need to do it too. I don't want to need to do it, I want to choose to do it. And that is the ultimate freedom.
