Jules had a bit of a cough yesterday. He was playing as normal on the floor, and Mina was carrying her toy handbag. All of a sudden:

“Mum, I’d better take Jules’ temperature to see if he is ok!”

She opens her handbag, which busts open with all sorts of items, including a toy thermometer. She digs around, looking for the thermometer and finally pulls it out of the bag.
Ever the supportive feminist parent, I ask Mina “Are you being a Doctor? Is that your Doctor’s bag?”

“No, Mum, I am just a girl with a lot of stuff in her purse!”

hmm.
